About Us

Impact church is a contemporary, spirit-led gathering of believers from all races, cultures and generations, who gather to EXPECT and EXPERIENCE God’s transformational power in the lives of individuals. We are culturally relevant, Biblically balanced and offer a location where all people can find hope and encouragement while learning how to accomplish their life purpose.

We EQUIP ordinary people to achieve their God-given potential and become leaders in church, family, business, government, education, media, and arts in order to extend the transforming grace of Jesus Christ into these areas. We are committed to achieving this through our seminars, iConnect Small Groups and ongoing leadership development.

We implement the Great Commission of Christ by sharing the Good News of the Gospel with the lost and unchurched. We EXTEND God’s Kingdom by aggressively reaching out to our community and world through Project I.M.P.A.C.T. This involves intentionally pursuing the lost in the most culturally relevant format while maintaining the integrity of the Word of God.

Impact Church is Apostolically and Prophetically led to extend the Kingdom of God in the earth today.

Our Beliefs

the bible

We Believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of Holy Men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The New Covenant as recorded in the New Testament, we accept as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine.  We believe there are 66 books of The Bible that were determined to be the “inspired word of God” and therefore the canonicity of the Scriptures is considered complete.   We do recognize that there have been many other inspired writings throughout the ages, but these writings are not held in the same regard as those authenticated by the Voice of God. The evidence shows that the Bible is unique, and that God is its author. The evidence declares that “all Scripture is God breathed and profitable …” (2 Tim. 3:16) and that “no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Pet. 1:20-21).

The Trinity

Our God is One, but manifested in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Philippians 2:6; Matthew 3:16-17  Jesus is the Son of God, One with the Father; the Word flesh covered, the One Begotten, and has existed with the Father from the beginning.   John 1:1; John 1:18; John 1:14; John 10:30. The Holy Spirit proceeds forth from both the Father and the Son and is eternal. John 15:26

Man and Redemption

Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God.  Man was created as male and female and is God’s only plan for creation.  Through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested to undo the works of the devil and gave His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God.

Romans 5:12; Romans 3:23; Romans 3:8-9; I John 3:8; Galatians 3:13-14

The blood of Jesus on the cross is the only means of salvation and provides the forgiveness of sin.   Salvation occurs when believers put their trust in Jesus as the son of God and the Lord of their life.   Salvation is not acquired through church membership but through an ongoing relationship with Jesus.

Isaiah 1:18; 53:5-6; 55:7; Matthew 1:21; 27:22-66, 28:1-6; Luke 1:68-69; 2:28-32; John 1:12; 3:3-5; 3:16, 36; 5:24; Acts 2:21; 4:12; 16:30-31; Romans 1:16-18; 3:23-25; 5:8-10; 6; 1 Corinthians 1:18; 2 Corinthians 5:17-20; 7:10; Galatians 2:20; 3:13; Ephesians 2:8; Philippians 2:12-13; Hebrews 9:24-28; I John 5:12; Revelation 3:20

The Church

The church is the local assembly of believers in Jesus Christ.   The church is the authorized agent of God’s Kingdom in the earth.   The church’s main role is to create disciples of Jesus Christ and to reveal God to a lost and dying world.

Acts 2:41-47; Ephesians 4:11-14

We believe God desires that all people be healed, and that healing is available for the spirit, soul and body.   We believe that God always has a healing plan for those who are in relationship with Him and that healing is a part of God’s character, as He has revealed Himself as Jehovah Rapha.  We believe that God may and does operate in instantaneous miraculous healing, as He wills, and His desire is for the physical healing of mankind, whether through instantaneous healing or through a planned process.  We believe that God desires that all of mankind live in divine health.

Exodus 15:26; Psalm 103:3, 107:20; Isaiah 53:5; James 5:13-16; 1 Peter 2:24

Jesus Christ

Jesus is fully man and fully God and is born of the virgin as prophesied in Scripture. Jesus is God’s only plan for man’s salvation, and it is through His shed blood on the cross and resurrection from the dead that salvation was obtained.

Isaiah 7:14; 53; Matthew 1:18-23; 3:17; 8:29; 14:33; 16:16; 28:5-6; Luke 22:70; 24:46-47; John 1:1, 14; 10:30; 11:25-27; 17:1-5; Acts 1:9; 2:22-24; 7:55-56; Romans 1:3-4; 3:23-26; 8:1-3; 10:4; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 2 Corinthians 5:19-21; Gal 4:4-5; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:15; 2:9;1 Timothy 2:5-6; 3:16

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit indwells all believers who have received Jesus as the Lord of their life. The Holy Spirit enables the believer to live victoriously in life and the Holy Spirit is the agent of regeneration and sanctification in the life of the believer. The Holy Spirit is active in the church today and through the Holy Spirit, signs, wonders and miracles are experienced. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a present time gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to those who are believers and is received subsequent to the new birth. This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance.

Matt. 3-11; John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; Acts: 38-39; Acts 19:1-7; Acts 2:4

The leadership at Impact Church International endorses a Biblical World view which promotes the doctrines, teaching and examples revealed in Scripture.   We believe that all life is sacred, from conception through death, and we do not support any view or activity that promotes the destruction of life.  We support a Biblical view of marriage, which is a union between one man and one woman.   We will not participate in any marriage that is not defined as between one man and one woman.   We believe that all sexual activity is preserved for a man and woman after holy matrimony.

Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:18-25; Psalm 139:13-16; Jeremiah 1:5; Romans 1:26-28; 1 Cor. 6:18; Gal. 5:19

The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord. We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation.  Heb. 12:14; I Thess. 5: 23; II Peter 3:18; II Cor.3:18; Philippians 3:12-14; I Cor. 1:30

Gifts To The Church

We believe the fivefold ministry as seen in Ephesians 4:11 is still fully available and operational in the church and is necessary for proper governmental structure in the local body.  Through the fivefold ministry, the church will equip the saints to do the work of ministry, recognize and activate gifts within the believer and send out to make disciples over the world.   Eph. 4:11; Mt. 28:19-20
